The SkEye internship program began in May 2016 when five bright students joined SkEye Studios for a summer of growth, challenge, and of course, lots of fun!
We’ve created this page to honor all our insanely talented Intern Alumni and to give prospective students a better idea of what the SkEye intern experience is all about!
George Fox University,
Class of 2018
a gifted photographer with extraordinary videography skills.
Born in New Jersey, Jessica has a sweet personality with a passion for everything film. A junior at George Fox University, Jessica is majoring in Cinema/Media Communications with a minor in Studio Arts. Teamwork and creativity are always a focus in her day-to-day life. Joining the SkEye crew this summer as an intern, she hopes to gain skills in the craft of camera and editing.
Class of 2016
an exceptional videographer with mad editing skills.
Doug is a native Oregonian and a recent graduate of Gonzaga University, where he received his degree in Broadcast & Electronic Media Studies. He’s passionate about ultimate frisbee, the outdoors, video editing, and 90s rock. This summer, Doug hopes to learn all he can about digital media, so he can pursue a career in video production.
Class of 2018
a talented writer with a big imagination for marketing and design.
Marisa joins the SkEye Studios team as a native Oregonian who loves volleyball, mountain biking and using her passion for writing and design to create digital media. In the fall, Marisa will begin her junior year at Gonzaga University where she is studying Marketing, Entrepreneurial Leadership and Spanish. One day, she hopes to start her own company and is excited to learn from the successful entrepreneurs at SkEye Studios.
Lewis & Clark College,
Class of 2017
a branding expert and social media genius.
A native of Costa Mesa, California, Ben brings to SkEye a sunny background in social media, style, and branding. Known for his speed, Ben also plays college baseball for Lewis and Clark College where he will begin his senior year in the fall. An avid sports enthusiast and mediocre surfer, Ben loves the contrast of the beaches of California and the forests of Oregon. He will never pass up an opportunity to have a barbeque or to go float the river.
Class of 2017
a brilliant storyteller, both in writing and photography.
Evan finds himself doing random projects associated with photography and writing. Whether it’s capturing the moment a water balloon hits the broad side of a baseball bat or describing the taste and texture of hemp milk at a cafe in Spokane, or recording a time lapse of students on campus at Gonzaga University and working for the college journal Charter, he is always doing something. He argues that those somethings are aimed at entertainment, with goals of getting people to smile and to think differently. Encouraging community and friendship is huge for him, and he hopes that his internship at SkEye will help him go forward in that direction.
As a SkEye Studios intern, two things are guaranteed:
First, you will be challenged to learn new skills, dive into unfamiliar territory, and expand your creative abilities
Second, you will have an absolute BLAST while doing so
