WHAT IS A NON-PROFIT PARTNER?

Giving back is built into the SkEye DNA.  And as storytellers, we believe that all great stories should be told…despite economic status.  Non-profits often have some of the best stories, just fewer opportunities.  The Non-Profit Partner program was created to assist non-profit organizations with media services that, otherwise, they may not have been able to afford.

Working hand-in-hand with the Non-Profit Partner program is the SkEye Studios internship program.  The internship is an opportunity for undergraduate students to gain hands-on experience working with a media company.  The Non-Profit Partner projects are the capstone pieces to their internship.

Company Information

SkEye Studios was founded in 2013 as a client-centered production company to create “videos with a purpose.” In the past three years, we have told the stories of small businesses, organizations, and schools. We are a team of enthusiastic, dedicated, and creative dreamers who are on a mission to change the world, one story at a time. Our company has doubled in size in the last six months. We are ambitious and a little crazy.  We have a diverse skill-set and always push ourselves to learn new techniques, perfect our abilities, and stay on the cutting edge of technologies.

Internship Information

We attribute many of our successes today to the many individuals and organizations who took us under their wings and taught us skills not found in the classroom.  We now have the ability to share our knowledge and experiences with other aspiring filmmakers and creatives.

The SkEye Studios internship program is divided into two main parts.  The first half is comprised of guiding the interns through our business as a whole, from acquisition of a client to conception of a project, to production, and through post-production and delivery.  The second half of the program allows the interns to work as a creative team to manage a project on their own—that’s where our Non-Profit Partners come in.

The Fine Print

• All Non-Profit Partners must be active not-for-profit organizations in the Portland metro area.
• Like all our clients, you must be willing to participate in project planning, direction, and review meetings/conversations.
• Please understand that applying does not guarantee that your organization will be chosen.
• SkEye Studios team members will work with the intern team to ensure every project produced is of the highest quality.
• Services rendered by SkEye Studios to Non-Profit Partners are not gratuitous.  However an appropriate budget and payment plan will be developed with each chosen Partner.
