This past month we were asked to assist Lake Bible Church for the second year in a row with their annual Christmas Cooking show. This year we decided to up the ante and live stream and produce the cooking show in 1080 HD. We had some very interesting challenges in accomplishing this task, and in the process we learned virtually everything there is to know about HDMI cables. This was the 3rd time that SkEye Studios has done a live stream, and it was the first time that we attempted one in 1080 HD! Overall we were very pleased with the result. You can watch the video below. I will warn you that it is an hour long show, so you may not want to watch the whole thing 😉

If you are interested in what we used to accomplish this, here’s what we used:

  • Blackmagic Television Studio
  • Canon 5D Mk III
  • GoPro Hero 3+: Black Edition
  • Panasonic GH4
  • Canon EOS 70D
  • Sony Handycam HD
  • Vizio 28″ Flat screen
  • MacBook Pro
  • 2 Cameramen (Chris Kiefer & Jacob Spence
  • 1 Director (Anthony Johnson)
